Buying Guide
- Perpetual vs. one-time: Perpetual plaques support ongoing updates, ideal for monthly awards or donor recognition, while some options focus on a single event. Consider your organization’s recognition cadence.
- Frame and finish: Choose between black, walnut, cherry, or matte black finishes. A brass or brushed metal plate adds a premium touch that matches office decor.
- Customization scope: Look for options that allow header branding, logo placement, and personalized nameplates for each recipient. Check whether the plates are replaceable and easy to update.
- Photo updates: Ensure the plaque includes a photo frame or a designated photo holder that accepts standard photo sizes without disassembly.
- Durability and mounting: Solid wood constructions offer longevity, while some plaques provide keyhole mounting or wall-hanging features for easy display.
- Size considerations: Larger boards (12×15) provide more space for names and months, while smaller formats work well on desks or shelves.
- Budget versus longevity: Higher-quality materials and customizable branding increase upfront costs but extend the plaque’s usefulness across many awards cycles.
Choosing a perpetual plaque with a photo frame depends on how you plan to update it and how much branding you want on the header. If you need frequent updates and a strong company presence, consider plaques with customizable headers and durable frames. If storage space is a concern, compact 10.5 x 13 options still provide clear visibility and a professional look. All five products above offer a blend of updateability, photo integration, and professional finishes to suit varied office environments.
