The best affordable 12-inch vase depends on whether you need a single glass centerpiece or several lightweight vases for an event. The Nuogo 6-piece acrylic set is best for smaller gatherings, while its 12-piece set suits larger displays. For individual glass options, WGVI offers a narrower cylinder, Royal Imports has a wider opening, and CYS EXCEL is a slim choice for flowers or candles. Compare material, dimensions, and quantity before choosing.

Nuogo 6-Piece 12-Inch Acrylic Vase Set
This set includes six clear acrylic cylinder vases measuring about 11.8 inches tall. The lightweight material has a glass-like appearance and is described as resistant to shattering, making it a practical option when several centerpieces are needed.
Best for: Hosts decorating multiple tables at a small event, or households that want matching vases for different rooms. The six-piece quantity and versatile clear finish are the reasons to choose it over a single vase.
Limitation: These are acrylic, not glass, and the listed height is approximately 11.8 inches rather than exactly 12 inches.
WGVI Thick Glass Cylinder Vase
The WGVI vase is a single handblown clear glass cylinder, approximately 11.75 inches tall and 4 inches wide. Its listed wall thickness is about 0.2 inches, with slight variation possible due to the handmade process. The product description highlights a thick wall and base.
Best for: Buyers who want one glass vase for flowers, floating candles, or a simple centerpiece. Its 4-inch diameter is narrower than the Royal Imports option, so it takes up less table space.
Limitation: The package contains one vase, and flowers and vase filler are not included. Glass also requires more careful handling than the acrylic sets.
Royal Imports 12-Inch Glass Cylinder Vase
This clear glass vase is 12 inches tall and has a 5-inch internal opening with 11.5 inches of usable depth. Its cylinder shape and weighted base are designed for flower arrangements, floating candles, and event centerpieces.
Best for: Buyers who need a wider opening for fuller arrangements or layered centerpiece decorations. Choose this vase over a slimmer cylinder when opening width is a priority; the weighted base is another useful feature for tabletop displays.
Limitation: It is sold as one vase, so decorating several tables requires purchasing multiple units. The glass construction should be handled carefully.
CYS EXCEL Slim 12-Inch Glass Vase
The CYS EXCEL vase measures 12 inches high and 3 inches wide. Its clear glass cylinder gives an unobstructed view of flowers, candles, or decorative items, while its minimalist shape can fit a range of decor styles.
Best for: Buyers seeking a narrow, single-vase display for a small table or a simple centerpiece. Its 3-inch width makes it a slimmer alternative to the 4-inch WGVI vase and the 5-inch-opening Royal Imports model.
Limitation: The listing describes one vase, and the narrow 3-inch width may not suit wide or bulky arrangements.
Nuogo 12-Piece Acrylic Cylinder Vase Set
This clear acrylic set contains 12 vases in two listed sizes: 12 by 4 by 4 inches and 12 by 3.5 by 3.5 inches. The material is lightweight and described as resistant to shattering, with a clear, glass-like appearance.
Best for: Event planners or hosts who need many coordinated vases. The 12-piece quantity and two size options make it better suited to larger displays than a single glass vase or the six-piece Nuogo set.
Limitation: These are acrylic rather than glass, and the two sizes may create a less uniform look if identical dimensions are essential.
Buying Guide: How to Choose a Cheap 12-Inch Vase
Should you choose glass or acrylic?
Choose glass if you prefer a traditional glass centerpiece and want to compare features such as a weighted base or a wider opening. Choose acrylic if low weight and shatter resistance are priorities, especially when setting up several tables. The acrylic options here are sold in multi-piece sets; the glass options are listed as single vases.
How wide should the vase opening be?
Opening and body width affect which arrangements fit comfortably. The Royal Imports vase has a 5-inch internal opening, making it the widest specified opening in this selection. WGVI is 4 inches wide, while CYS EXCEL is 3 inches wide. Check dimensions against the flowers or decorations you plan to use.
How many vases do you need?
For one focal display, a single glass vase may be sufficient. For several tables, compare the Nuogo sets: one includes six vases, and the other includes 12 in two sizes. Consider whether you want matching dimensions or are comfortable mixing sizes across the display.
What will you put inside the vase?
All five options have a clear cylinder design suitable for showcasing decorations. The product descriptions specifically mention flowers, and some also describe use with floating candles or other decorative items. Check the vase’s listed opening and usable depth against your intended arrangement. The WGVI listing notes that flowers and vase filler are not included.
