For street wall spray painting, choose a paint set based on its pressure, color range, finish, and intended surface. Montana Black’s popular-color set is best for artists who want a broad palette and high-pressure paint; its grayscale and black-and-white sets suit tonal or limited-color work. DANG Prime is a low-pressure, matte-finish option for artists who prefer that combination. The canvas print below is a no-paint alternative for decorating a wall, not a spray paint product.
| Product | Best suited for | Key distinction |
|---|---|---|
| Montana Black Popular Colors | General mural and street-art color work | 12 colors; high pressure |
| DANG Prime | Matte-finish projects | 12 colors; low pressure |
| Montana Black Grey Scale | Grayscale artwork | 12 gray-scale colors |
| Montana Black Black & White | Monochrome designs | 12 black-and-white cans |
| ANRUOXI Graffiti Canvas | Decorating without painting | Printed 12-by-18-inch canvas |
Montana Black Popular Colors Set
This set contains 12 cans of Montana Black spray paint, with 400 ml in each can. The listed colors are described as Montana’s most popular choices. The paint is high pressure and designed for graffiti street art and murals.
Best for: mural artists who want a varied color set and prefer high-pressure paint. It was selected as a broad-use option because it combines multiple colors with a stated street-art and mural focus. Choose it if color variety matters more than a specialized grayscale palette.
Limitation: High pressure may not suit every working style or detail task. The supplied product information does not specify individual colors or coverage.
DANG Prime Low-Pressure Matte Set
DANG Prime includes 12 assorted colors in 400 ml cans. The product details describe a low-pressure spray, matte finish, and weather-resistant paint for surfaces including concrete, wood, metal, glass, and canvas. The set also lists 12 Carolina caps.
Best for: artists seeking low-pressure paint with a matte finish and a stated range of possible surfaces. It is a useful comparison with the Montana high-pressure sets because its pressure and finish are different. Choose it if those qualities match your project requirements.
Limitation: The provided details do not identify the exact colors or describe how the included caps affect spray patterns. Confirm surface suitability and follow the product label before use.
Montana Black Grey Scale Set
This 12-can Montana Black set contains gray-scale colors. The listing describes the shades as suitable for gradient blending and says the high-pressure paint is designed for graffiti street art and murals. Each can holds 400 ml.
Best for: artists planning monochrome murals, tonal studies, or designs built around gray transitions. It was selected because the focused palette provides a clear alternative to a mixed-color set. Choose this set if tonal range is more useful to your design than assorted hues.
Limitation: It is a specialized gray-scale selection, so it may not provide the color variety needed for a multicolor mural. The listing does not name the individual shades.
Montana Black Black And White Set
This Montana Black set includes 12 cans in black-and-white colors. The paint is high pressure and intended for graffiti street art and mural use. At 400 ml per can, it shares the can size and stated use of the other Montana Black sets in this selection.
Best for: artists creating high-contrast lettering, graphic shapes, or monochrome wall designs. It was selected for buyers who want a more limited palette than the popular-colors set. Choose it if black and white are central to the composition.
Limitation: The set is not a substitute for a broad color palette. The listing does not specify the exact balance of black and white cans.
ANRUOXI Graffiti Canvas Wall Art
This 12-by-18-inch canvas print features graffiti-inspired artwork. It is wall decor rather than spray paint, so it does not provide paint, cans, or supplies for creating a mural. The listing describes it as suitable for rooms such as bedrooms, offices, and hallways.
Best for: someone who wants a graffiti-style look on a wall without painting. It was included as a no-paint alternative for buyers comparing ways to bring street-art styling into a space.
Limitation: This is a fixed-size printed canvas, not a customizable wall-painting kit. Measure the intended display area before choosing it.
Buying Guide: How To Choose Street Wall Spray Paint
Should you choose high-pressure or low-pressure paint?
The product details identify Montana Black sets as high pressure and DANG Prime as low pressure. These descriptions distinguish the options, but the listings do not provide comparative spray-pattern tests. Consider the pressure preference stated by the manufacturer, your intended technique, and any included cap information. Do not assume that one pressure type is automatically best for every mural.
Which color palette fits the design?
A broad assorted set is a practical starting point when a design needs multiple hues. Choose grayscale for tonal work or the black-and-white set for a deliberately monochrome composition. Check the product listing for exact color names if particular shades are essential, since the supplied information does not identify every color in these sets.
What should you check before painting a wall?
Confirm that the paint is suitable for the intended surface and read the can’s directions. DANG lists concrete, wood, metal, glass, and canvas; the Montana sets are described for street art and murals. These descriptions do not guarantee suitability for every wall coating or condition. Follow applicable property rules and get permission before painting a wall you do not own.
How much paint should you plan for?
Each spray-paint set listed here contains 12 cans, and the Montana and DANG sets specify 400 ml per can. That information alone cannot establish how much area a set will cover. Coverage can depend on the surface, design, application, and other factors not provided in the product details, so avoid relying on an assumed coverage figure.
